Project Revival
Type-driven Awareness Campaign
Fall 2021
This campaign is designed for a made-up nonprofit organization, Project Revival, to spread the urge of restoring our planet. This commission includes posters, publication, website, and social media design.
As one of the designers, I decided to focus on the destruction of the Amazon Rainforest. The 3 posters each targets a different time, the past event, the current situation, and the future prediction. By using two sets of handmade cutoff letterforms, I separated the main messages and the supplementary texts. The combination of those sharp letters with musty backgrounds created an uneasy feeling for the audience which urge them to take action.
The design of the publication continued the same theme but focused on the six aspects of conservation according to the World Wildlife Fund. Contents in this publication are also sourced from WWF’s website.
